What is Seniors Day Out?
Seniors Day Out is a free program sponsored by the Housing with Hope Foundation that provides seniors with a variety of activities offered by HwH.
Does Seniors Day Out cost anything?
It's free! Seniors can participate in our programs simply by signing up at http://tinyurl.com/HwHSeniorsDayOut one time, and then registering for each program they would like to attend.
Housing with Hope is a nonprofit organization and we are able to offer SDO programs free of cost to seniors thanks to the generous support of grants, sponsors, and donors.
How do I find out about your upcoming events?
Sign up for Seniors Day Out at: www.tinyurl.com/HwHSeniorsDayOut and you will be put on our email list to receive weekly notification of our upcoming opportunities, or check this page for updates.
How do I register for an activity/event?
You can register in one of three ways:
1. Click the link in the calendar that corresponds to the week of the program(s) you would like to attend
2. Email us at register@housingwithhope.org
3. Call or Text us at 908-219-7772
Why do I need to register for each event?
Your registration will allow us to notify you of any cancellations/closures of programs or facilities.
Can I tell my friends about you?
Absolutely! We want all seniors to be able to participate in the freeprograms and partnerships we offer.
Do I need to let you know if I cannot make it?
Yes please! If you cannot make it on a day that you previously registered for, we can offer your spot to someone on our waiting list.
What if the facility or class I registered for is closed or canceled?
If a program or facility that you are registered for is canceled, you will be notified by email or phone by either Housing with Hope, or our partner facility.
Do you have a waiting list for programs?
Yes, we do keep a waiting list and will let you know if there any cancellations.
What if I reserve a spot and then don't show up?
We want all seniors to be able to participate in our programs. When you reserve a spot and then don't use it, it prohibits other seniors from being able to participate. Please notify us if your plans change and you cannot make a previously scheduled reservation. Failure to notify us of cancellation 2 or more times may result in pre-registration limitations.
